Youth and adults with disabilities are able to:

  • Access ongoing education in life skills and survival needs (including information on reproductive health, sexuality and HIV/AIDS)

Youth with disabilities are able to:

  • Obtain the support they need to help with their transition to the world of work or skills-training opportunities
  • Access vocational and careers guidance and peer counselling services

Adults with disabilities are able to:

  • Access appropriate, flexible and effective learning opportunities throughout life, such as through open schools and distance learning

In the community and beyond:

  • Community educators from public and private schools and from other educational institutions actively promote the social inclusion of youth and adults with disabilities by providing lifelong learning opportunities
