The health potential of people with disabilities is frequently overlooked. CBR can promote the general health of people with disabilities by:
- supporting the health sector to include people with disabiities, and
- designing specific health promotion activities for people with disabilities within regular CBR activities.
In the section, you will:

- consider how your organization can promote the general health of people with disabilities and CBR personnel.
It is important to remember that, since health promotion focuses on changing a wide range of determinants of health, it involves many different sectors, and not just the health sector.
