People with disabilities face many barriers to political participation, and many choose not to participate in politics because the issue that concern them are often ignored and they feel they have limited power to influence change and decision-making. Additionally, barriers such as inaccessible voting booths can make it difficult for people with disabilities to participate in political processes.
