The Role of CBR
The role of CBR is to provide support and assistance to people with disabilities and their families to form new self-help groups and to support the capacity of existing ones to help them achieving greater autonomy and impact. Where mainstream groups, such as women’s groups and microcredit groups already exist, CBR can work with them to promote the inclusion of persons with disabilities and their families in these groups.
