People with disabilities need a set of individual and context-specific skills to find decent employment.

Different types of skills may be required for successful work. They include foundation skills acquired through education and family life, technical and professional skills that enable a person to undertake a particular activity or task, business skills required to succeed in self-employment and core life skills, which may include creative thinking and problem-solving.
