Personal assistance

Some people with disabilities require personal assistance to enable them to participate in family and community life.

In many countries where there are limited social services and benefits, families are often the main or only means of this support.

While formal options are often very limited, this section shows how CBR utilizes community resources to ensure that people with disabilities and their families are able to access a range of options for personal assistance that are appropriate to their individual needs and preferences.
